At Sunshine Education & Training we believe education is more than just academics--Its a transformative journey helping to develop trade skills, building confidence and pride in your work and helping to "grow in wisdom, knowledge and stature..."

Sunshine Education and Training is starting summer classes June 15, 2026! 

 

We are offering accredited classes with individual or group settings utilizing online courses, and computer labs and classroom resources with over 700  accredited classes ranging from English, math, science, world history, algebra, geometry, college credit classes, classes in the medical field ,  Classes in skill trades such as architecture and construction, energy and natural resources, appliance, facilities maintenance, clean energy, electrical, HVAC, multifamily maintenance, plumbing, residential construction, solar installation and so much more!  Classes to help get a high school diploma through your local school or through our programs.

Our staff:  Dennis Schuette is a licensed architect in Illinois, Missouri and Florida for over 45 years.  Dennis will be teaching/tutoring architecture and building classes.

 

Joan Schuette, Program Administrator is licensed teacher K-12 and Learning Disabilities and Social Emotional Disorders and has been working in the public schools in the tri-county area for over 40 years.  Joan will also be teaching/ tutoring classes for high school diploma.

​

Kevin Simburger, Pastor and former Chaplain will be teaching Bible.

​

Donna Hoff, will be teaching, Refiner's Fire.

​

Chrissy Linhart, Pastor's wife of Hope Community Church, "Church Unusual" will be teaching /tutoring Nutrition.

​

Michelle Jackson, Mother of 7, will be teaching family classes.

​

Jeremiah Golz, former Science teacher will be teaching/tutoring Science.

​

Joe Amos, will be doing maintenace and building management training.

​

Gail Bywater, mother and foster parent for over 25 years, family.

​

Josh Schuette, Secretary/Treasurer of Sunshine Education and Training and V President  and Senior Investment Officer at First Mid will be teaching/tutoringfinancial management classes.
